A prescription for better health
The new Health Shares program works to reduce complications from cardiovascular and other chronic diseases through a program that improves nutrition by prescribing fresh vegetables for high-risk, low-income patients. Aurora Design submitted three potential logo designs and program leaders selected the mark featuring a striking heart-shaped beet.

Type 2 diabetes is a significant problem in Schenectady County. Aurora Design wrote and designed a broad-reaching diabetes awareness campaign that focuses on simple, manageable steps to stay healthy and keep diabetes at bay. Components included full-page newspaper ads, web ads, posters, flyers, newspaper inserts, pdfs, displays for community events, door hangers for West Indian neighborhoods and banners for local cricket fields.

Meant to evoke a beloved childhood play spot, the Hidden Pond Productions symbol was created for a unique, independent company that offers music supervision, talent supervision, intellectual property licensing and rights clearance of all kinds, branding, research and consultation as well as custom music scoring, production and sound design services.

The humble envelope rarely gets the attention it deserves. At a time when direct-mail volumes are expected to rise, more professionals are realizing that the best hope they have of attracting attention lies in rethinking this humble piece of the mailing process. This exciting sample packed was inspired by Josef Albers’ artwork and designed to showcase Mohawk’s completely customizable window envelopes. The assemblage includes three rich color palettes: Elegant, Bright and Classic.

Long-time client, Loudonville Home for Adults, came to Aurora Design for an update of their main promotional piece. With a new residence in development, this piece has a short life span – but had to convey the elegance and warmth of the existing home. Focus was placed on the warmth of daily interactions between staff and residents. Quality was conveyed through lush photography, HP Indigo digital printing and premium coated paper.

Quality Envelopes
The m-notch mark was created to identify Mohawk’s meticulously crafted premium envelopes. Users can hold their envelopes to the light to reveal a discreet notch die cut into the inner seam. For packaging and promotional applications, the logo is a straightforward representation of the custom cut notch.
